In addition, younger kids will be delighted by the two playgrounds situated just adjacent to the beach.

5 Reasons I Loved Antarctica

=&0=&Could you really describe the most stunningly beautiful place on the entire planet? Let alone in a blog post? The answer is no, but hopefully I can convince you to get to Antarctica at some point in your life and maybe even get you to look at the Antarctica cruise prices! Antarctica is definitely is a place of extremes, it will probably the most expensive holiday you go on (Antarctica cruise prices are very high!) I wanted to let you know some of the reasons you absolutely

This is one of my favourite things about visiting this beautiful place is the strangely diverse wildlife that is there. You would think that nothing would attempt to live there, but there are so many, such as penguins (and many different kinds), many kinds of seals, whales and countless other bird species. The unusual thing is that the wildlife is actually more relaxed and less scared by human presence than you would think. Penguins are one great example of this and they don’t seem phased by humans, some are even curious enough to approach. The best thing is that animals are just happy to do their own thing, which is something that you don’t see anywhere else on earth.

This is a blessing and a curse at the same time. Once you go to Antarctica, every trip you ever go on will be compared to Antarctica and how beautiful it is there. My bet is that you won’t ever see anything better or more amazing. Think of mountains, endless ice in various colours, glaciers and

5 reasons to open an online store alongside your retail store

Owning a retail store is simply not enough in this day and age, particularly with the globalisation of almost every good or service available today. For retailers to compete they need to start selling online as well as having (or perhaps not having) a physical retail store.

You can market online for offline and online success

Because marketing can encompass an instore and online component it makes it much easier to have a much greater reach. For example, if you were to offer a promotion to get a cheap deal on Groupon relating to your business you could entice people not only from your local area, but also for a much wider audience throughout the internet. This will mean that you can potentially sell to many more people and improve your profit.

Low starting costs

Starting an online store alongside your retail store requires very little in the way of costs for starting up. You only really need an e-commerce platform to begin and can continue to store stock in the same place as before. Retailers are now following the trend of moving a lot of their business online because they do not have to cover costs like rent and other overheads that come with operating a retail store.

More sales and greater profit

What business doesn’t want more sales, well offering your goods or services online is the best way to improve your sales by reaching more people without the high costs mentioned above. This will translate to greater profit and a happier you.

Customer information

When somebody walks into your store, there is always a natural temptation to speak to the person, but what about those people that walk in and buy something and then walk straight out without saying a word? You know very little about these people and what has motivated them to go into your store in the first place. You know nothing about their interests, contact details and how they came to find your store. The beautiful thing about online stores is that you can track this information about your customers and use it to help improve your sales. For example, if you know that someone heard about your store in a local magazine and this happens with many other people, you can easily target this audience more and spend more money on marketing and advertising in this local magazine to improve your sales.

Marketing

Both foreign and Chinese companies in China are looking for foreigners who speak multiple languages and comprehend the nuances of international markets. To land that perfect marketing job in China, you should be social media savvy and preferably good at design and ad creation.

Writing/Proofreading/Editing/Translating

More Chinese companies than ever before now have the capability to sell to an international audience. As a result, they need foreign experts who can write, edit and proofread in multiple languages. To truly excel in this type of job, you should ideally be able to read the original Chinese text, but if you have a Chinese colleague with excellent English, that wouldn’t be necessary.

IT, Web & App Development

Experienced IT experts are needed in every country, not just China. However, since China has the biggest population in the world, it only makes sense that their need for IT experts is equally as large. Those with expertise in international software, iOS and Android apps, and programming are especially in demand.
